Introducing Narwhal Technologies (Nrwl)

Since Victor Savkin and I (Jeff Cross) joined the Angular team at Google in the early days of Angular 1, Angular has seen phenomenal growth in adoption with teams and apps of all shapes and sizes. What started as an experiment with Misko Hevery and Brad Green has grown to become the most widely used Web framework in production today, with a community of over 1 million developers and contributors. This past September, Angular 2.0 final was released, and the community has shown an overwhelming enthusiasm to start new projects on Angular 2, and upgrade existing Angular 1 apps. As the adoption of Angular 2 continues to grow, there is a growing need for dedicated support and consulting to help teams succeed in their development and deployment of Angular 2 applications. So Victor and I decided to leave our posts at Google and put our consulting experience to good use at our new company, Narwhal Technologies Inc, or Nrwl for short.
We’re excited to start this new adventure, and work more closely with enterprise teams working on Angular 2 applications. The Nrwl team will remain active contributors on the Angular core team, and will remain strategic partners with the Angular team at Google. If you’re worried you’ll miss us at the Angular conferences, don’t worry; we’ll still be there giving talks and hanging out.
We’ll miss our colleagues on the Angular team at Google, but look forward to continuing to collaborate with them, and to see what new amazing things they’ll do for the community.
